According to the daily, the student posted pictures of her lingerie with price tags in her blog. The blog also has pictures of her wearing thongs. A pair of panties costs RM69 while a bra goes for RM115. Pictures of the student (not showing her face) in underwear are also available at RM23 each. She said all items purchased were immediately sealed in plastic bags and posted. Business has been brisk for the past month as Pamela had sold four pairs of G-strings and a few pictures of her in thongs. Currently, the unsold undergarments posted in her blog include eight G-strings and four bras.

Sorry, I am lazy : Supermarket Reprimanded
A SUPERMARKET’S method of reprimanding a foreign worker over his handling of shoppers got a regular customer all riled up.
A Belgian expatriate said he was stunned when he saw the employee standing near the entrance of the Sri Kota Supermarket in Taman Danau Desa, Petaling Jaya, on Dec 11, with a cardboard sign with the words ‘Sorry, I am Lazy’ hanging from his neck.
The Belgian took a picture of the worker and e-mailed it to Weekend Mail last week.
“It’s a shame this happened. No way would you see something like this in Brussels, London or Paris,” he said.
On Friday, Pasaraya SJ Kota Sdn Bhd expressed regret over the incident the same day it submitted a report to the Labour Department.
The department had instructed the company to do so on Wednesday.
KUALA LUMPUR: A supermarket’s tactic of reprimanding a foreign worker for his unprofessionalism has backfi red.
A Belgian expatriate was stunned on Dec 11 when he saw the employee, clad in the store’s uniform, standing at the entrance with a cardboard sign that said, ‘Sorry, I am Lazy’, around his neck.
He took a picture and emailed it to Weekend Mail.
“It was humiliating (for the employee) and tarnishes Malaysia’s image,” he wrote in his e-mail.
“The supermarket is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and many expatriates who live there shop there.”
He said he saw the worker at 10am in front of the Sri Kota Supermarket in Taman Danau Desa, Petaling Jaya.
He added that the worker stood there for half an hour with the sign around his neck.
The supermarket, he said, was open for business and there were many passers-by.
“It’s a shame this had to happen. No way would you see something like this in Brussels, London or Paris.
“It’s time we treat foreign workers better. This is not what we want our children to see.”
He said such incidents should not happen here as the country places a lot of importance on values.
Pasaraya SJ Kota Sdn Bhd expressed regret over the incident the same day it submitted a report to the Labour Department. The department instructed the company to do so on Wednesday.
This came about after Weekend Mail visited its Taman Danau Desa outlet and contacted Labour Department (Peninsular Malaysia) director-general Datuk Ismail Abdul Rahim on Monday.
“It’s unbecoming for an employer to behave this way. They can’t even call themselves Malaysian employers if they behave in such a manner,” Ismail said.
“There are proper ways to discipline employees and procedures to follow when doing so, and employers must abide by them.”
He said the department will look into the incident and if found guilty, the supermarket could be blacklisted from hiring foreign workers.
“Such actions damage the country’s image.”
When approached, the supermarket worker in question, who identified himself as Salim from Bangladesh, seemed nervous and was taken aback when shown the picture of him with the sign around his neck.
Salim’s job requires him to carry and sort out boxes, and to clean up, among others. He barely spoke or understood English.
“I learning,” was all he could say when asked about the incident.

Restaurant's 'most spicy dish' taken off the menu
JOHOR BARU: A restaurant in Taman Skudai Baru here which featured scantily-clad showgirls was busted by the police yesterday.
The showgirls would perform on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights between midnight and 1am.The place would be packed with mostly male clients on these nights as the showgirls would shed their clothes piece by piece until they were only clad in a bra and shorts.
The police busted the restaurant for flouting city council entertainment regulations and arrested the performers.
Cops also carted away RM40,000 in sound equipment and shut down the makeshift stage that the eatery had been using to hold the performances.
Nusajaya district police chief Superintendent Abdul Aziz Ahmad said a 28-year-old scantily clad singer was nabbed by district criminal investigation department officers when she was making her rounds through the restaurant's tables about 12.30am.
Diners who appreciated her performance could tip her by buying a bouquet costing RM10 or a sash costing between RM50 and RM1,000.
Also arrested in the raid, led by Nusajaya CID chief Deputy Superintendent Yahaya Hassan, was a 24-year-old man who is the disc jockey at the restaurant.
"We are conducting investigations to charge them under Section 6(2) of the Johor Entertainment Enactment for operating an illegal entertainment centre," said Abdul Aziz.
The offence carries a one-year jail term or a RM10,000 fine or both.

Séance DVD on Ying Ying’s murder: Penangites say NO
PENANG: A Hong Kong documentary about the murder of Shearwel Ooi Ying Ying has made its way here in DVD form but many retailers are refusing to sell it out of respect for the family.
A retailer at a shopping complex in Burmah Road said the 46-minute DVD was on sale for about a week before he decided to stop selling it.
“Sales were brisk but the more I thought of it, I felt very guilty. I understand what the father must be going through as I also have a daughter of that age.”
Attempts by The Star to purchase a DVD copy of the programme entitled Kwai Tan (Strange Talk) from outlets at 1-Stop Midlands and Prangin Mall yesterday proved unsuccessful.
But after much persuasion, a shop in Prangin Mall sold the DVD for RM5.
The production crew had filmed a séance between Ying Ying and her father, Eng Chew, 29, at the Leng Hong Keung temple near Perak Road on Oct 11.
During the filming, one of the crew members suddenly collapsed and started to murmur “very cold” and “very scared” in Hokkien.
On July 8, some of Ying Ying’s charred remains and bone fragments were found by police near a tombstone at a Chinese cemetery in Paya Terubong.
On July 20, her mother Jess Teh, 28, was charged with lodging a false missing person report while her boyfriend Ong Chee Leong was charged with murdering Ying Ying on July 5. Both cases are pending trial.

Angolan actors 'killed by police'
The director of an Angolan crime film says police have shot dead two of his actors after mistaking them for real armed robbers.
The duo were carrying unloaded firearms as they filmed a scene in a rough suburb of the capital Luanda, director Radical Ribeiro told AFP news agency.
He said police roared up to the set and began shooting at close range.
Angolan officials have not commented on the incident. Mr Ribeiro says he had permission to film in the area.
Mr Ribeiro told AFP that police arrived at the scene in a pick-up truck and "started shooting at everybody at close range".
He was "stunned" when he saw the two actors fall down, he added.
"They went on shooting until I shouted out: 'Please don't shoot, this is a movie.'"
The officers then stopped firing and left without attending to the wounded, who were taken to hospital, Mr Ribeiro said.

A lesson on love and sharing
They looked out of place amid the young families and young couples eating there that night.
Some of the customers looked admiringly at them.
You could tell what the admirers were thinking.
"Look, there is a couple who has been through a lot together,
probably for 60 years or more!"
The little old man walked right up to the cash register, placed his order with no hesitation
and then paid for their meal.
The couple took a table near the back wall and started taking food off of the tray.
There was one hamburger, one order of French fries and one drink. The little old man
unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half.
He placed one half in front of his wife. Then he carefully counted out the French fries,
divided them in two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife. He took a
sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them.
As the man began to eat his few bites of hamburger the crowd began to get restless.
Again you could tell what they were thinking.
"That poor old couple. All they can afford is one meal for
the two of them."
As the man began to eat his French fries one young man stood and came over to the old couple's table.
He politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple to eat.
The old man replied that they were just fine.
They were used to sharing everything. Then the crowd noticed that the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite.
She just sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.
Again the young man came over and begged them to let him buy them something
to eat. This time the lady explained that, no, they were used to sharing everything together.
As the little old man finished eating and was wiping his face neatly with a
napkin the young man could stand it no longer.
Again he came over to their table and offered to buy some food.
After being politely refused again, he finally asked a question of the little old lady.
"Ma'am, why aren't you eating? You said that you share everything.
What is it that you are waiting for?"
She answered, "the teeth".

Wife 'lets' husband commits suicide
In MALACCA, a 56-year-old unemployed man committed suicide outside his home along a busy street in Banda Hilir here yesterday.
Teoh Cheng Liat, who was said to be a heavy drinker, told his wife at lunch that it would be his last meal.
He then hanged himself from a tree outside his house.
His wife, who did not want to be named, said he had threatened in the past to take his own life but had always backed down.
“He has done this many times before. This was his third time this year. He always ties the rope on the tree and then changes his mind,” she said.
She said her husband had told her to give the car keys to their children and wished his three pet dogs goodbye before going out of the house at about 3pm.
“I saw him tying the rope on the branch but because he'd done it so often in the past, I just let him be,” she said.
Teoh leaves behind three children.

Contractor bitten by dog – where it hurts most
KLANG: All he wanted to do was deliver a bouquet of flowers to his friend but ended up getting 10 stitches on his scrotum after a dog bit him.
Goh Boon Lea, a contractor and part time florist, had gone to his friend's house in Taman Bekerly here at 10.20pm on Sunday to deliver the flowers when the male mongrel, belonging to his friend's tenant, a 60-year-old woman, lunged and started to bark at him.
The 37-year-old said his friend tried to hold the dog back but it escaped and bit him.
“I pushed the dog away. Then, I noticed blood oozing from the wound. The pain was so bad. My sister, who was waiting in the car, rushed to help me into the car,” he said.
His sister drove him to the nearest clinic where he was given several injections and stitches.
“It was the scariest and most painful experience of my life. Luckily my two sons, aged three and six, were in the car with my sister,” he told a press conference organised by Kapar MCA division youth chief Datuk Song Kee Chai here Tuesday.
Goh said there were two holes on his jeans after the dog's teeth tore into them.
He then lodged a police report, adding that the dog had bitten his friend’s sister previously.
Goh, who said he was still traumatised, plans to take legal action against the dog owner. He is on two weeks' medical leave.
Song, who is also Klang Municipal Councillor, said he had forwarded a complaint to the council.
He said all dog owners ought to know how to take care of their dogs and keep them from being a danger to other people
