A MYSTERIOUS phenomenon has hit a family in Kuala Terengganu where all their fabrics rot within three months from the first time they are washed, reported Kosmo!
Suhaimi Awang Mohamad, 48, of Kampung Hiliran Masjid, Chabang Tiga, said they had to change their coloured clothes, linens and fabrics every three months.
Strangely enough, white-coloured fabric is not affected by the peculiar occurrence.
“After any coloured fabric is washed for the first time, black oil-like stains start appearing and after several washes the fabric would just begin to rot and tear several weeks later,” the father of 11 told the Malay daily in its front-page story.
“I am forced to spend so much money every three months. Sometimes, I have to buy up to 20 blankets in that period for my family.”
He said only his household experienced such a thing and his neighbours did not complain of anything similar.
